1969 L89 Corvette
This 1969 L89 Corvette has been in the hands of caring owners since it was new. The original owner went into the showroom floor at Van Camp Chevrolet in Milford, MI in the summer of 1969 to purchase this L89 Corvette. Some of the options include 427/435hp, tri-power L89 aluminum head, 1 of 390 built, white soft-top, F-41 suspension, 3.70 posi-traction, power brakes, full transistor ignition, M 21 close ratio 4-speed, tilt and telescopic, white stripe tires, AM/FM, saddle vinyl interior, 1-year only color Riverside Gold paint and the N-14 side exhaust option.
It still has its original engine and drivetrain. The third owner, Al Wagner was a GM Milford proving ground engineer who bought it in 1997 and only put 2,000 miles on it over the next 16 years or so. It now has 45,000 original miles (not indicated on title), which includes 100 miles since the frame-off restoration performed by Corvette. Hall of Fame inductee, Wener Meier at his Masterworks Corvette business in MI.
It still wears its original interior with new carpet. It was invited to the MCACN L89 display in Chicago 2014, and was in an article in Corvette Magazine in December 2014. Awards include, NCRS Regional Top Flight, Bloomington Gold, MCACN Triple diamond all of which were given in 2015. It was on display at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY for the summer of 2016.

This 1969 L89 Corvette is listed at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale 2017 and I will be there to provide some follow up photos and information after the auction. This 1969 L89 Corvette was next to my display at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals in 2015 and I am also friends with the current owner and previous owner. This is a very special L89 Corvette and it is in spectacular condition. I am positive that the next owner will appreciate its worth and continue to car for this Corvette as it has been cared for since day one.
