C2 Corvette 1963 to 1967 and are considered by many Corvette enthusiasts to be the most desirable, most collectible Corvettes for sale. The 1963 Corvette coupe brought us the timeless rear split window design. That model year also introduced the independent rear suspension, a revised Rochester Fuel Injection system on top of the 327 Chevrolet Small Block engine, and the original Z06 competition option. The 1964 Corvette brought us larger cylinder heads with more horsepower, but the rear split window was removed and replaced with a single piece of glass which improved the drivers’ vision through the rear view mirror. The 1965 Corvette introduced the Chevrolet Big Block engine between its front fiberglass fenders and ushered the Corvette into the Muscle Car era. The new L78 396 425 horsepower engine basically phased out the Fuel Injected 375 Horsepower 327 engine which was almost twice as expensive to purchase. The 1966 Corvette introduced the enlarged Big Block Chevrolet engine which was now sized at 427 cubic inches. More horsepower created quicker acceleration times and higher top speeds. The 1967 Corvette has been called to best Corvette to own introduced the Tri Power carbs on top of the solid lifter 427 engine and if that wasn’t enough, the legendary L88 427 engine made its debut that model year with only twenty brave souls who paid the price of admission when ordering their new Corvettes. If you can’t find what you are looking for today, feel free to check back at a later time, as it might be here then.
